What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. Local storage (localStorage) is similar, but its data stays in your browser and is not sent to the server.
What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ulty_token | First-party technical cookie | Keeps you signed in. Only set if you sign in. | 24 hours, or 7 days with “Remember me”. Deleted when you sign out. |
| NEXT_LOCALE | First-party technical cookie | Remembers the language you choose. | Until you close your browser. |
| ulty-tema | Local storage | Remembers whether you prefer the light or dark theme. | Until you delete it. |
| ulty:announcements-dismissed | Local storage | Remembers which site announcements you have closed so we do not show them again. | Until you delete it. |
They are all our own: we do not load third-party scripts that set cookies, and game images are served through our own server.
Why we do not ask for your consent
Technical cookies and those that remember a preference you choose are exempt from consent under article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE and the guidance of the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (Spanish Data Protection Agency). That is why we do not show a cookie banner.
We do not currently use analytics, advertising or social media cookies. If we ever add them, we will ask for your consent before setting them and update this policy.
Desktop and mobile apps
The apps do not use cookies: they store your session and preferences on the device itself, and these are deleted when you sign out or uninstall the app.
How to delete or block them
You can view, delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, you will not be able to sign in; if you delete your preferences, the site will go back to the default theme and language.
